The "Assign To" field in the user-configurable Preferences for the "Stats" field presently sorts open all users [with assigned issues or bugs] alphabetically. In a multi-organization, multi-departamental structure, alphabetical order is not always the handiest form.
This selection field should offer an option "Assign To by Group/Person" which pre-groups the users by their Group (as defined in the Users' structure) and also allows to click on the group's name to select items assigned to all users of the same Group. Which is often what the group's manager, and/or coworkers, will want to see.
