Search/Filter within multiple projects
Currently, the Search facility allows you to search within any one single project, or within all projects.

Frequently I want to search within a subset of projects, so what would be great is if the Project list was not a drop-down (combo box) but a checklist (keeping "all" as a shortcut of course so probably what I'm asking for is a radio with All/Selected as options, then for the latter a checklist of projects with Select All/Clear All buttons).

I think the same would apply exactly for the Filter screen.

In fact if the Filter screen also had a field for "Matching String", that would make the Filter more powerful, and the Search screen redundant...

Any takers?

Murray, good idea, I'm taker. By the way there is a nearly synonymous idea somewhere in the Idea Exchange, that repeats the suggestion of the multi-selection list, but without the (useful) extra bit of the "matching string".
