Previously filter dropdown was displaying all versions from all projects - thus the prefix was needed to differentiate between them. Now filter dropdown displays global versions + the list of project specific versions if the project is selected as well - this is similar to type-category/phase relationships.
Basically, say, TeamDesk v3.10 and BUGtrack v3.10 are two distinct versions. If you need to share 3.10 across multiple projects you can create 3.10 as a "global" version.
