This feature is available in the BUGtrack Professional Edition.
To import data from spreadsheet into your BUGtrack database you must have administrative rights.
1. Highlight the data or the table in the Excel or Word document and copy it into clipboard
2. Open "Admin" tab
3. Click "Import records from spreadsheet" link to start the wizard:
4. Paste your data into the window and click "Next".
5. BUGtrack will analyze your data and display results. Please verify that BUGtrack has analyzed your data correctly and make appropriate changes if necessary.
If the data is not properly aligned, you need to correct the original data in order to proceed with the importing.
When you are done, click the "Import" button:
6. BUGtrack will report number of imported records:
Please verify that your data has been imported correctly.
You may need to setup proper permissions for newly-created project(s) and user(s).
If you have a special case and our data importing wizard doesn't work for you, you may hire us to convert your data and load it into BUGtrack database.
