This scenario is useful when you don't want to give your customers access to your development process or team, and you want to keep customers' issues and developers' issues separate from each other.
To implement this scenario you need to:
1. Create a separate project for customers (or several projects if you have several customers on the same project and they shouldn't see each other).
2. Give customers access to their external (customer) project with only permissions to "create" and "edit" in "Roles".
3. Manager should have access to these external (customer) projects with rights including "Resolve" and/or "Assign"
Manager reviews customers' issues and requests, groups them and creates appropriate issues in the internal (development) project.
Now manager links every external (customer) issue to an appropriate internal (development) issue by pressing "link" button from the external issue and entering number of internal project issue. This allows to link single or multiple customers' requests to the appropriate internal issue. |
