Bugtrack already allows to add structure or hierarchy (as a tree) to the project's "Area" field. This is very useful, as we can cluster issues by main fields or departments of responsibility, in a multi-layer form.
I propose that BugTrack also allows the same tree-structuring for the "Groups" of users. Presently, users can be clustered in groups, but in a single layer only. It would be easier to replicate organizational structures of projects (and related database functions for queries, filters, group notifications, etc.) if the structure of "Groups" could be multi-layered. | |
