For instance, prior to vacation, a user delegates "in absence" his/her open issues to different sets of colleagues, and can get the issues back later.
Of course that the user can normally "reassign" all his/her stuff, but the concept of temporarily delegating issues on a vacation or temporary relocation would be closer to human patterns in these situations.
