How to use Web-Query to import BUGtrack data to Excel?
Answer
To generate Web-Query you must have administrative rights.

1. Open "Admin" tab.



2. Click "Create web-query to your database" link on "Admin" page.



3. Choose records filter criteria and press "Next" or use one of the saved filters.



4. Choose HTML output format and select required output columns, then click "Next".



5. Copy generated web-query into a clipboard. You may preview query results if needed.



6. In Microsoft Excel application choose 'Data->Import External Data->New Web Query...', paste web-query into Address field and click 'Go' button.



Review the results and click 'Import' button.

7. Use 'Data->Refresh Data' menu or toolbar button in Excel to refresh BUGtrack data when needed.
