Send e-mail to users should be supported on project level
Often when creating a new project in BugTrack I need to notify users of that project about the fact that I just created it.
Also sometimes I just add new areas to a project and would like to inform people that these new areas exist and how they should be used.

These scenarios are not well supported in BugTrack, because if mass-sending-e-mail, I need to check for each person in mass-e-mail list if he/she is on the project or not, if so, I need to check mark him/her. This needs two browser windows open and it is very tedious work.

It would be very good if I could mass-e-mail to all users of a selected project.
So there should be a filter for users of a given project. By default all users should be checked; so that it would be easy to uncheck some if they should not receive an e-mail (typically Administrator does not care).

I'm not sure if you mean this, exactly, Boris, but I had inquired about a similar theme. I wanted to be able to notify users based on what projects to which they were assigned, by making use of a native parameter that does not yet exist: %PROJECTS% ... for example:

"Your login to access BugTrack is: %LOGIN%

You have been granted access to the following BugTrack projects:
%PROJECTS%

To access BugTrack, use this primary URL:
%URL%"

etc.

Dear Matthew, no, this is not what I meant, but might also be useful ;-)

I will try to further explain my request.

If you go to "Send e-mail to users" (https://xxx.bugtrack.net/massmail.aspx) on Admin page, a list of all active users for your company is shown. You need to check recipients either all or one by one.
I would like to have the possibility to "Select/filter users by project", so that the checkable list is shorted to the users of a selected project.

I hope this explains my request better.

Boris, ah, yes! I understand.

And I was thinking, when I send an "invitation" email to a user, I want to let them know to what projects (plural) they have been assigned without having to write them up one at a time. BUGtrack has a native %PROJECT% parameter which is useful, but I was hoping a plural %PROJECTS% might solve this other problem.
