Please verify your issue subscription settings - notifications can be either disabled by the role assigned to you or you have manually unsubscribed from notifications for this issue.

I get notifications on new edits. If someone with manager rights edits an edit in a task, I get no updated email.

Ok, got it. Well, so far this is the behavior by design. Nevertheless, I raised a discussion in Allow Administrators to edit comments topic - there are people requested "admin edit" functionality and we'll be glad to hear their opinion as well.

Thanks Kirill. To that same note, it makes sense that folks might be able to edit thier own posts also, especially since its logged with version control.
